ELSA’s Master Agreement for Tertiary Transactions (MATT), first published in 2019, was created by a group of legal and transactional specialists in the life settlement market to provide investors in the life settlement industry’s tertiary market with a standardised document to aid in the smoother running of the tertiary space.
The MATT is made available as a fillable PDF and may be altered only to insert the names of the parties and their notice details.
The Confirmation for specific transactions, which is also used to customise the ELSA MATT, is separately made available as an MS Word document, as is the Form of Entitlement Order.
