The European Life Settlement Association (ELSA) has been unable to confirm the International Life Settlement Fund’s (ILSF) claim on its website that ILSF complies “with the ELSA Code of Ethics.”

ILSF is not an ELSA member, and while ELSA encourages voluntary compliance with its Code of Practice it cannot condone an entity making a claim of compliance without allowing ELSA to review the factual basis for the claim.

ELSA regrets that ILSF has not responded to repeated efforts over the course of two years by the ELSA Executive Committee to communicate for the purpose of verifying ILSF’s compliance with ELSA’s Code of Practice.
