The conference will highlight important issues facing existing and potential investors in life settlements. These include the latest research on valuation and pricing of funds, current regulatory issues including FATCA and AIFM, investor and lender perspectives, and alternative investments including life contingent structured settlements.

A key session will be devoted to the secondary annuity market highlighting the opportunities provided by recent UK legislation allowing annuity holders to cash in their savings. Leading political, industry and research experts will participate in six sessions to be hosted at the London offices of EY (Ernst & Young). Following the conference there will be a Thames river boat cruise, dinner and entertainment for delegates. There will be a BVZL members meeting on Wednesday 7th October.

Full details of the programme and speakers will be announced in June and publicised in association with The Deal’s Life Settlements Report.

This event is likely to be well attended so early booking is recommended.”

I personally look very much forward to the large number of interesting presentations and panel discussions scheduled as well as the valuable opportunity for networking and an intensive exchange of ideas.”
