ELSA Elects New Executive at 2022 Annual General Meeting

Scott Willkomm & Bill Corry re-elected as ELSA Chair and Deputy Chair.

The European Life Settlement Association (ELSA) is pleased to announce the election of the organisation’s Executive Board for 2023. Scott Willkomm of Life Equity has been re-elected as Chair and Bill Corry of Corry Capital Advisors as Deputy Chair at ELSA’s 2022 Annual General Meeting, which took place on 17th October, 2022.

Ordinary members of the executive

Each Officer and Ordinary Member serves for a full calendar year, from January 1 through December 31, and elections take place in the autumn of each year for the upcoming year.

Preston Ventures’ Adam Meltzer is a new Ordinary Member of the Executive. Meltzer replaces Jule Rousseau, Partner at ArentFox Schiff, who has stepped down from the Executive. Rousseau has been an Ordinary Member of the Executive since 2015 and most recently acted as Secretary of the Association. ELSA would like to take this opportunity to thank Jule Rousseau for his commitment and his contribution to the Association’s successes.

“Despite the challenges that the pandemic has continued to bring, ELSA has continued to be at the forefront of positive development in the life settlement industry,” said Scott Willkomm, Chief Executive of Life Equity, who was elected to his fifth term of Chair of ELSA. “2023 and beyond is set to provide a number of opportunities for the Association to continue its ongoing objectives of promoting best practice, educating the investor community and wider stakeholders, and further developing industry standards.”
